Another exceptional off the beaten track trek / expedition in Canaima’s National Park, one that very few tourists / trekkers have taken. This IS special, fantasma Canyon (La Cueva Fantasma) is located deep in the park and usually only visited by helicopter.

La mattina presto trasferimento e l'assistenza a Caracas National Airport. Volo per Parco Nazionale di Canaima via o Puerto Ordaz o Ciudad Bolivar. Flight to Purpürken, una piccola comunità di Pemón, deep in the heart of the park.
Depending upon arrival time, take a short hike to a small waterfall (ca.. 40 min), kui Meru, godere di una nuotata rinfrescante nel naturale “buco nuoto” prima di tornare al villaggio. Overnight in Purpürken. (D)
Appunto: an over flight of Angel Falls maybe be possible for 4 o più persone a un costo aggiuntivo.
Colazione, hike across savanna and through virgin rainforest, about 11kms (3 – 3 1/2ore), Prada fiume dove ci riposeremo, fare una nuotata e godere di uno spuntino in rotta verso il nostro campo base (1 1/2 – 2hrs further) dall'altro lato dei contrafforti / foresta.

Breakfast in the primary rainforest, hike to fantasma Canyon e Kavanarupa water fall.
Pranzo e relax prima di tornare al campo base. (11/2ore ca.. ad ognimodo). Pernottamento al campo base in tenda / amache. (B,Gli,D)
Breakfast before returning to the Purpürken comunità. Fermerete nei Prada fiume per uno spuntino e tuffo rinfrescante (4-5ore).
Cultural ceremony performed by the children of Purpürken. Durante la notte in tende o amache. (B,Gli,D)
Colazione, relaxation before flight to Canaima, Ciudad Bolivar oppure Puerto Ordaz and onward flight to Caracas. (B).

Giorno 5 – Breakfast before setting off to Salto Aicha (Aicha Cascate) overlooking Kamarata Valle. A long hike (5-6ore) with a break en-route alongside Purpür River. Through savannah, foresta pluviale, making the steep climb to the first level of Auyantepui before reaching the top of Aicha Cascate. Durante la notte in tende o amache. (B,Gli,D)
Giorno 6 – Colazione. Climb down through the rainforest on foot to Kamarata Valle below, stopping en-route at “Kaneparu”, a conuco (farm) owned by a local shaman and his family – its located at the foot of the tepui on the edge of a river and deep inside the rainforest. Visit the conuco and take lunch / snack. Fresh fruits beckon! Continue our hike to Uruyén oppure Kavak (total 5-6hrs). Pernottamento a Uruyén oppure Kavak. (B,Gli,D)
Giorno 7 – Morningflight to Ciudad Bolivar oppure Puerto Ordaz (possibly via Canaima). Transfer by plane to Caracas. (B,Gli).
End of program.
