Making the Paragliding Adventure Trip a Reality
In the afternoon we will drive in a 4×4 vehicle with our professional guide towards the southern region of Mérida to Tierra Negra for “take-off”! Tierra Negra is surrounded by a xerophytic ecosystem where the natural elements of wind and rain have formed a surreal landscape with soil and rocks of beautiful pastel colours. The ascent in your four wheel drive from Gonzalez is almost as exciting as your upcoming flight with the Condors!
One last check by your co-pilot of the equipment and weather conditions you will be ready to soar! The journey is approx. 1hr by jeep and 30-45 mins of tandem paragliding. You will be soaring and riding thermal currents at about 1,500 metres above sea level.
Leaving Mérida early afternoon by jeep, we will take you on an hour’s ride to Tierra Negra. Upon arrival the guide / tandem pilot will make one last check of the equipment and weather conditions before setting sail – so to speak! Your soaring time will be around 30-45 minutes of pure adrenaline. Post flight we will deliver you back to your posada in Mérida.
