We start the day with a visit to the downtown area of Caracas, Simón Bolívar’s house, Plaza el Venezolano (San Jacinto) and Plaza Bolívar.
After a typical Venezuelan lunch, we will drive on the scenic Cota Mill (which is closed on Sundays for people to exercise) and visit Plaza Altamira.
Time permitting, we may also visit the Pantheon “Panteón” boulevard located in the Altagracia District and take a long walk north of the city to the newly renovated National Pantheon. The Panteon is a final resting place for national heroes. The entire central nave is dedicated to Simón Bolívar with the altar’s place being occupied by the hero’s bronze sarcophagus.
We then visit Hugo Chavez’s Mausoleum in the “barrio” of 23 de Enero, which used to be one of the most dangerous ghettos of Venezuela. Caracas Street Art is pretty much all over the city on our tour.
A surprise for everyone is in store as we visit our “secret” dormitory of Macaws where you will see them up and close.
The City Tour starts early around 9:00am and may finish as late as 9:00pm depending on the activities and places you wish to visit. Alternatively, we can finish at midday.
Please be advised that on a full day tour we may walk as much as 9 kilometres however, we can adapt the experience to your personal preferences.

Caracas is already famous worldwide for being the Capital City of the Macaws. This is a special 4 hour excursion that takes you to some of the best spots to observe the Blue and Yellow and Chestnut Fronted Macaws as well as Yellow Crowned and Orange winged parrots.
This tour is best taken early morning and or late afternoon. We will be happy not only to show you these fascinating and colourful birds but will also include a few interesting sites of Caracas.
We can collect you at Simon Bolivar International Airport / Maíquetia and take you to a well located hotel / guest house in Caracas City upon your international arrival to Caracas.
Alternatively we can also collect you from the airport at the end of your tours / expeditions to other places in Venezuela.
